Echo Logo (7 minute video piece): a sound-echo performance staged under the 30 metre high ice-face of the Canada glacier, located in Taylor Valley, Antarctica. The performance was realised at 00.30am on Jan 24th 2003, with the assistance of an 8 member science team based in the Dry Valleys during summer.Ritual-like performer tasks, action cycles of voice shouts and stone bangs produce an acoustic echo off the face of the glacier. (Echo Logo is part of the Polar Project series.
